Panalpina adds new installations service, creating one-stop-shop for telecoms industry

Panalpina, the freight forwarding and logistics company that pioneered Logistics Manufacturing Services (LMS), has stepped into the telecoms installation market after signing an agreement in Mexico with a large global telecoms network infrastructure company. With this, Panalpina has extended its LMS offering to include the installation of hardware and software for mobile network antennas.

Last May, Panalpina added Querétaro International Airport (QRO) in Mexico to the “Speedy” loop of its Charter Network, making it the first and only company to offer a transatlantic flight from Querétaro to London Stansted Airport (STN) in the UK and to Luxembourg (LUX) via Huntsville, offering contingency solutions for medical, food supply and other urgent goods in light of Brexit.

Panalpina launches scheduled flights to Querétaro, Mexico

As of today, May 18, 2018, Panalpina has added Querétaro International Airport (QRO) in Mexico to the “Speedy” loop of its Charter Network, which also connects Mexico City (MEX) and Guadalajara (GDL) with Panalpina’s air freight gateway in Huntsville (HSV), Alabama. Panalpina is the only freight carrier to serve three international airports with scheduled flights within and out of Mexico.

With Luxembourg (Certisys) and Amsterdam (SKAL), Panalpina now has two airport locations in Europe that are licensed for the handling of organic perishables.
